Participants reflected on Amanda Gorman's "The Hill We Climb" by interpreting parts of the poem to gather meaning using digital software. This was a virtual lesson.
We are educators who specialize in in-person classes and we offer online classes, using the latest educational software. We also specialize in developing parent workshops hosting conversations about trends in education.
Testimonials
As parents we are beyond grateful for the educational and social experience our 13 and 15 year old sons have gained from being a part of this group. The knowledge and appreciation they have gained from participating in informative and interesting topics would not be taught nor discussed in school. We need more educators such as Josie and Andrea in today's world, who approach the education of our children with outside the box techniques.
Ivette Brisard, Parent
I have more pride in my ancestors' contribution to this country.
1619 Project Participant
One morning my 14 year old son and I were talking about white supremacy. I asked him if he knew how the police was formed in this country. He told me about slave patrols. I said where did you learn that, he said from "the boys club." I asked if he learned it in school as well, he said no. Gratitude for you both!
Retha Fernandez, Parent
I like these workshops, especially since we get to discuss topics that I don't get a chance to talk about in school.
